The family of the biological cultivator Milona Efrosini has been cultivating mountain tea “sideritis raeseri” and oregano from the mountain tops of Othris for thirty years. In the beginning they were selecting self – sown plants from the region. Then the plants were transplanted on privately owned property. During these years all their secrets have been used and today the cultivation is according to the standards of biological agriculture. The whole process of cultivation is traditional, that is without the use of modern agricultural machinery and the final product is of high quality. In the future other aromatic healing plants like chamomile and sage concoction will be also cultivated.
